| Customer Reviews: About Naruto unleashed - series 8 vol.1 February 12, 2010 Birgitte Thejll-moller Hey Guys
Is there somebody who knows that this product has English Language on?
Same old, same old. February 9, 2010 Daniel Lackenby (Liverpool, UK) Its more Naruto, by now... you either like it or you don't really. Simple as.
it's ok January 14, 2010 Ms. E. J. Pinkney (Barrow) this series is basically fillers and it can get abit boring at times but the storyline itself is brilliant
More of the same January 1, 2010 T. R. Alexander (East Anglia, UK) This three disc set of the Naruto anime contains another thirteen episodes of dull and somewhat poor quality filler. The volume kicks off by finishing the Land of Stars storyline but despite the previous episodes in this arc actually being reasonably good this final one doesn't live up to the rest of the arc and finishes things off in a rather unsatisfactory way. Ones this is over there are a number of bad one shot episodes which range from just dull to unwatchable. The best of the one shot episodes is probably episode 194 which has some nice ideas and manages to do rise above the mediocrity of the other one shots.
The best part of this volume is the five episode Land of Greens arc which, although not as good as the Land of Stars arc, is at least interesting if only for the unique abilities of the bad guys. Overall though this is a brief respite from the poor quality episodes and I feel that giving this volume two and a half stars would be a bit generous.
