I have watched these episodes before but on the computer screen but now I can finally watch them on my TV screen which makes it even more better to watch. the thing that makes Naruto Shippuden so good to watch is that it never gets boring its also one
of the best anime's to watch, well that's just my opinion anyway that's all I have to say 5/5.
by the way if you get this box set I would advise you to get the rest of them.

5 out of 5 stars It's here at last   July 8, 2010
charmed i'm sure (UK)
After what seems like an age,to me at least Naruto finally moves onto the shippuden phase and its great to see it on the big tv screen not a moniter.

The animation is top notch though it has to be said the dvd has very extras on it which is shame but thats by the by enjoy it and you wont go far wrong lets just hope the release schedule isnt spaced to far apart for these as its very easy to watch the 13 episodes in one go,i know i did .

Amazing continuation of the Naruto series - alot better than the filler arcs and these are so far my favourite episodes - even though on amazon says the language is in Japanese its also in English too :)

5 out of 5 stars Naruto part two begins   June 21, 2010

The `Naruto Shippuden' anime is the second half of the story of Naruto Uzumaki and takes off two and a half years after the end of the previous `Naruto' series. When Naruto returns to the Hidden Leaf village after training with Jiraiya he is reunited with his friends but the Akatsuki organization now one the offensive once again and they have their sights set on the Hidden Sand village and its new leader.

This first set of thirteen episodes of the `Naruto Shippuden' anime are great fun to watch with some nice animation and a reasonably good English dub. The storyline is interesting and although it still takes some time for episodes to get anywhere it is by no means as bad as some of the early episodes from the original `Naruto' series. The battles are nicely done and while there are some things different from the original manga (such as the absence of the `Kakashi Chronicles') it is still a relatively decent adaptation. The series also has a series of omake sketches between each episode which are quite funny and are informative for people new to the series.

Overall this is a very good start to the series and I am very much looking forward to its continuation.
