This thirtieth volume of the Bleach manga sees the leaders of the Arrancar, the Espada, join the battle against Ichigo and his friends. Rukia, Chad and Renji all find themselves battling for their lives against opponents more powerful than they have faced before and Rukia must also deal with issues from her past.
This is another very good volume of Bleach and while it is again mostly fighting with little advancement to the overall plot it is still enjoyable with some nice moments for Rukia in particular. As well as this there is also a little bit of humour her and there which breaks up the action nicely. Overall this is a better volume than the previous one and was very enjoyable to read.
